Black Gold School Division carries blanket student accident insurance through Industrial Alliance, which provides coverage during the school day, while travelling to and from school and for school-sponsored activities.
In the event that a student is injured at school, it is important that the parent/guardian submit the form within the required timelines. Please note that the insurance company has provided a new claim form for the 2023-24 school year (it is attached to the letter).
It’s important to note that the Division’s insurance is second payer. The student must always first access coverage under their own medical insurance.
