All About TES

History

History TES provides a full range of educational services to approximately 255 students in Pre-Kindergarten to grade 6. Approximately two-thirds of our students are bused to school. TES is a member of Black Gold Regional School Division #18 and their head office is located in Nisku, Alberta. Thorsby Elementary School colors are black, orange and white and our school team name and design is the “Sabre Cubs”. Our school mascot, TES is a Sabre Cub who represents the PRIDE the students, staff and the community share while working together to provide the best possible education for TES students.

Land Acknowledgement

We acknowledge that we are on Treaty 6 territory, a traditional meeting grounds, gathering place, and travelling route to the Cree, Saulteaux, Blackfoot, Métis, Dene and Nakota Sioux. We acknowledge all the many First Nations, Métis, and Inuit whose footsteps have marked these lands for centuries.
